Day 1:  Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Boat Cruise and Hike to the top of the falls

Meet our guide to start your Murchison falls wildlife safari. The journey takes you to Ziwa rhino sanctuary to track white rhinos. The trek takes approximately two hours. After drive to the park for lunch and boat cruise at the bottom of Murchison falls. You will get up close to aquatic animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and other animals and bird species at the bank of river Nile like water bucks, buffaloes, Goliath heron, king fisher, weaver birds, cattle egrets among others. Later hike to the top of the falls to meet you guide and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight

It is one of the country’s peak top tourism destinations with high numbers of visitors, Murchison falls national park is located in northern part of Uganda visited all year round, it is accessed by both air and road, taking approximately 5 hours’ drive from Entebbe by road and chatter flights can be organized from Entebbe or kajansi to the nearest airstrip Pakuba, it takes about 333km by road to access the national park.
