7 Days Uganda gorilla trekking and Wildlife Safari starts and ends in Kampala Uganda and it takes you to the best wild places to track chimps and mountain gorillas in their natural habitats of Kibale forest national park and Bwidi forest national park respectively.

The trip will also take you to Queen Elizabeth national park to see a number of wildlife species in different sectors and on kazinga channel such as crocodiles, hippos, birds, elephants, lions, impalas among others.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale national park- Bigodi Swamp walk
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking safari- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Day 4: Morning game drive and Kazinga boat cruise
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park via Ishasha sector- Community walk
Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest- Bunyonyi Canoeing Experience
Day 7: Departure

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the hotel

Meet our company representative and drive to the hotel for relaxation and briefing. Depending on your arrival time; we may have a city tour to major land marks, historical and cultural sites. Dinner and overnight at Fair way Hotel

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale national park- Bigodi Swamp walk

Meet your guide and drive to Kibale national park. This is a rewarding journey that takes you through traditional villages. You will have lunch in fort portal while enjoying views of Rwenzori mountains and then continue to Kibale National Park- a home to a number of chimpanzees and monkeys including the red colobus monkeys as well as the rare L’Hoest’s monkeys. Check in to your lodge and later go for an evening walk to Bigodi swamp to explore unique primates and bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Isunga Safari lodge

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking safari- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Take a morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for briefing and later start your trail into kibale forest in search for our closest relatives; sharing 98% of DNA with us. You will spot a number of other primates such as L’Hoest’s monkeys, Black and white colobus monkeys, grey checked Mangabey, red tailed monkeys and many bird species After meeting the chimps, see them play high in trees, swing on tree branches; take photos and later return to the starting point to meet your guide. Drive back to the lodge for check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Hab lodge

Day 4: Morning game drive and Kazinga boat cruise

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and drive to the park to catch up with early morning risers in kasenyi track. Expect to see animals such as elephants, buffaloes, lions, kobs, antelopes, among others. Explore the different crater lakes in the park and drive to Mweya peninsular for lunch and a boat ride on Kazinga channel. You will meet animals up close such as crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans and saddle billed stork. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Elephant Hab Lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park via Ishasha sector- Community walk

Have breakfast and drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park to encounter the tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector. Later continue with your journey to Bwindi for check in, relax and go for an evening community walk. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Bakiga lodge

Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest- Bunyonyi Canoeing Experience

Take breakfast and head to the park for briefing on dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking experiences. You will be allocated a gorilla family and start your trail into the forest in search for mountain gorillas under the guidance of a ranger. Meet the giant mountain gorillas for an hour, take photos and return to the starting point to pick your certificates. Drive back to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for canoeing experiences. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Safari Resort

Day 7: Departure

Have breakfast and drive back to Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator for photography and lunch. Later continue to the airport for drop off to end your 7 Days Uganda gorilla trekking and Wildlife Safari
