This 3 days Gorilla trekking and Lake Kivu Adventure Safari takes you to explore the northwestern part of Rwanda into the Volcano National Park. Volcanoes National Park is a home to Mountain gorillas and other primates such as golden monkeys with diversity of spectacular scenery and dense green cover. Enjoy magnificent views from Mukungwa River of the five extinct volcanos of Muhabura, Sabyinyo, Gahinga, Karisimbi and Bisoke.

Day 1: Kigali City Tour- Canoeing in Mukungwa

Meet and greet your guide driver for briefing and early pick up for a short Kigali city tour to visit of Kigali Genocide Memorial before embarking on a 2 hour’s drive to volcano national park- a home to the mountain gorillas and other primates. Check in to your booked lodge, have lunch and relax. Prepare to go for canoeing experience on river Mukugwa in the afternoon to enjoy beautiful sceneries, bird species and meet friendly communities on this epic adventure journey. Drive back to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge

Day 2: Gorilla tracking and drive to Gisenyi

Have an early morning breakfast and head to Kinigi park head offices by 7:00am for morning briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines and allocation of gorilla families. Head into the park in search for the giant mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This takes approximately 1hr to meet the gorillas however, the trekking time is subject to their movement. Upon meeting them, you will spend one hour to take photos and later retrieve to the starting point to pick your certificates. Drive to the lodge for lunch before driving to Gisenyi for dinner and overnight at Paradise Malahide

Day 3: Tea farm visit and return to Kigali.

After leisurely breakfast visit of Pfunda Tea Estate and factory below the Virunga volcano to see how farmers plant and harvest tea. Enjoy beautiful sceneries and green hills of Rwanda. Later drive back to Kigali for a drop off
