Which country has the most Mountain gorillas? Uganda is one of three countries with the most endangered mountain gorillas in the world. Mountain gorillas are endangered species surviving mostly in the densely forested areas of east and central Africa. You will never find them in a zoo anywhere these visitors will have to move and explore them from their wildness. The reason for them not found in a zoo is that they cannot survive under captivity.

The Democratic Republic of Congo offers the cheapest option of the three countries with gorilla permits cost as low as 400 United States dollars. D.R Congo has been relatively unstable and this has made most visitors travel to Uganda and Rwanda to see mountain gorillas.
In all three countries, gorilla trekking safaris can be best done during the dry season when there no incidents of rains that would not cause inconveniences during your safari. It is recommended to use a four-wheel-drive vehicle when going to either Uganda, Rwanda, or the Democratic Republic of Congo to see gorillas given the nature of the topography and climatic changes within these countries.
